Stars on Canvas
The Willow Foundation has teamed up with respected British artist, Julie-Anne Gilburt to hold the stars on canvas art exhibition. Bob Wilson, the former Arsenal Goal-keeper and his wife Megs founded the Willow Foundation in 1999 in memory of their daughter, Anna who died of cancer aged 31. The Willow Foundation provides special days for cancer patients aged between 16 and 40.
Arsenal have supported the exhibition with Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Arsene Wenger and Tony Adams all contributing drawings which are being auctioned on e-bay. If you can help this worthy cause all the details are online here.
Real Football have released two more promo spots featuring Cesc Fabregas you can watch them below. Don’t forget the HQ button!
Chelsea v Arsenal Update - Arsene Wenger has indicated that Bacary Sagna, Samir Nasri and Emmanuel Adebayor will be fit for Sunday’s game which is great news.He also talked about Cesc ahead of his first Premier League game as captain and said, “First we want him to do his job; that’s the best way to be the captain, lead by example and the rest comes out. Already he has played 250 games for the club and he is 26, rather than 21, given his experience. That’s why I believe he just has to behave like he has always done. “
Mathieu Flamini has backed Cesc’s appointment as captain. He told the press, “I am not surprised by the choice. I have talked with him [Fabregas] a bit about it and he is very happy. This is very important for him and he feels he is ready to take on the extra responsibility. It is great for him, for the club and for the fans. He is a big player in that team. I think he deserves it.
“I’m sure he will continue to play as well as he always has and his game may even improve.” You can read more of his comments here.

Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to all you yanks out there….Ok,this is totally silly, trivial and well quite a “fan girl” to the extreme question but, isn’t Cesc left handed ? (told ya it was a silly question)
It’s not a silly question
Yes Cesc is left-handed.
Awww Thank you DC Wash that’s sweet
Theo and Cesc draw similiar pictures!! I like Arsene Wengers best!!
Robbie! You are observant
Your right it looks like hes using his right hand to play the Real Football game but I’ve seen him signing autographs and hes mosdef a leftie
Arsenes is absolutely classic. I really want that!
I like Matt Damons it is well cool! Cesc’s is cheerful!
Thanks for the real football vid the music is soooo bad!!!
I have a 5 year old nephew who judging by Cesc and Theo’s efforts will grow up to be a footballer LOL

I miss the flamster I wish he hadn’t left
Good news that we have Nasri Ade and Sagna back!
haha. Matt Damon XD.Aww. Cesc drew a sun ^^
I loved Wenger’s one. So funny.
If only I had some money to bid.
I watched the ac milan game yesterday. It is so wierd seeing flamini ad senderos play for another team. I hope we get senderos back at the end of the season. And seeing flamini made me feel sad. Rosicky, flamin, hleb and cesc were my fav players. Now they are all split up. Ah well. Old news.
Thanks for the two new ads. XD
I found some more from quotes Flamini MJ,,,
“I am not very happy when I see what is going on with the Arsenal team. I’m still an Arsenal fan because I played there for four years. I am still red in my heart.”
He added: “The most important thing is to have unity and to have a good spirit to keep going. Last year the Arsenal spirit was amazing. From the back to the front everybody fought for each other all over the pitch.
“I played in midfield with Cesc Fabregas, Alex Hleb and Tomas Rosicky and we were always talking and helping each other. When you fight for each other you win games.
“Arsene Wenger is very important and it is very important to trust him because he has achieved great things at the club but although the manager is always a big influence in the dressing room it is up to the players to get together and work hard for each other.
“When you play in England the most important thing is to win the battle. It is never easy to play in the Premier League because it is physical and every team has strong players.”
I thought it was interesting to hear what he said about unity because he will still talk to people at Arsenal and would know the extent of the problems,,, but why did the spirit change so much I mean we didn’t have that big a personnel change?
Anyway having to work a 14 hour shift on a Friday sucks ass as you would say mj and I’m off down the pub
Do you know when Rosie and Sambo will be back in contact? They’ve flown out now right?
Thanks for that link TA,,, funny stuff
Hi Plu
I miss that midfield too I called hleb, flamini, cesc and rosicky the awesome foursome
But hopefully tomas will play for us again soon and maybe Senderos will come back in January
Thanks George! 14 hours you poor man if I could I would pour you a beer myself!
I don’t know why the spirit would have changed so much maybe we will have to wait for William’s next book. I wonder if a player 10 years younger than him let’s call him ooooooh ummmmmmm ‘C’ will feature lol
Rosie and Sam will land in Mumbai in another 8 hours roughly. Rosie has her blackberry and her tablet notebook so depending on how jet-lagged they are I expect to at least get a txt
So MJ you are holding the fort all on your lonesome? How long will they be away?
Good news on the injury front. I think we can grab a win but I’d be happy with a draw as their midfield is very combative and we are going to have a tough time of it.
I don’t think Mr Wenger, with all due respect, should be saying Cesc is “26″ in player years. There are more than enough people in the media who forget he is 21 as is.
Tanx 4 all da vidz + pics over da last days!! gr8 job!!
Cesc’s art is da best!!!
They’re back Dec 23rd. So I’m ‘fraid its jus me for now nzgooner. I’ll do my best to keep things running tho
