Fabregas happy after start of season

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas said that he is happy at the moment.

He said that Chelsea had made a good start to the season despite the poor result in the opening game. He believes that this is mainly due to the fact that they had two players sent off otherwise it could have been a different result.

The Spanish midfielder said that the players had responded well after their first defeat and they have managed to get two good results against Tottenham Hotspurs and Everton. He said that the two last games were not that easy and that they had to fight a lot in order to get the victories.

Cesc Fabregas said that the players are determined to retain their title and that they will be doing everything they can in order to win the Premier League again. He admitted that it would be a lot harder this time around as they will have to focus on the Champions league as well but he believes that they have the necessary squad to cope with the demand of the two competitions. N’Golo Kante has been central in the Chelsea setup this term.

The diminutive French midfielder’s stats suggest that he is the reason for Leicester City’s Premier League swoop last season and the man behind Chelsea’s possible title win this campaign.

Kante played more games than the rest of the players whilst with the Foxes last season, only behind goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, captain Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton. He missed just one game last season for Leicester – their 2-2 draw against West Brom in March.

The player’s capabilities, hardwork and the improved confidence married the change in formation at Stamford Bridge to give birth to a dramatic turnaround for Chelsea. The Blues sit atop the league with a six-point margin. Defending champions Leicester place four points above the relegation zone without the powerless defensive machine. Continue reading →

Vicente Del Bosque is offended to hear the media stories he calls misleading

Vicente Del Bosque is offended to hear the media stories he calls misleading. But, he must ask himself who is giving the media the content to report what they are reporting?

If a certain player is not playing and he comes and says ‘I wouldn’t have wanted this visit only for the sake of it’, is it selfless or is it a showing of how united the side is?

If the skipper of the side who normally is a fine penalty taker pushes on himself to take another one and fails and then, a veteran player passes the statement that he was willing for the shot too and it’s only for his colleague’s insistence that he left it to him, is it again a showing of the unity?

Team spirit is not limited to just being on the pitch together. It also means shielding one another and finding joy in the glorifying moments of the others.

What if you are not playing? The others are playing with the same goal which you would have played with and that is to win for Spain.  What if you were asked by your skipper to leave it to him to deal with a penalty and it remained unconverted? It could have been the case with you too. Continue reading →

Cesc Fabregas rocked the Premier League

The Spanish midfielder CescFabregas rocked the Premier League during the 1st half of the season but his influence in any team he joins starts to fade away in the final stages of the campaign no matter what club he performs in.

This is something that has affected Fabregas for a long time now as the performances that he made during the last phases of a season were worse in comparison to how he used to perform at the start of the campaign.

When Fabregas made his switch from Barcelona to Chelsea, the Spanish club announced a piece of information involving the midfielder which stated that even during his time playing at Camp Nou, the contributions he made to his team were significantly lower as the season progressed.

The official Barcelona website released a statement after Fabregas left Camp Nou which read: “Despite glowing starts to each campaign, Cesc’s contributions to the cause gradually decreased as each season drew to a close”.

The statistic prove that this curse which is surrounding Fabregas is indeed true as the Spanish midfielder had a passing accuracy of 89% during the first half of the season and it dropped to 82% meanwhile his amounts of shots per game dropped from 0.86 to 0.25. Continue reading →

Steven Gerrard is best Coach of Football

There are some players which are loved and admired by the club they perform in which is the case of Steven Gerrard as the veteran midfielder has spent his entire career playing for Liverpool and even at his 34 years of age, he still remains being an influential figure for the Premier League club.

Paolo Maldini for Ac.Milan is another good example of a player who has spent his entire playing career with a specific club and where he has gone off to receive the unconditional love of the fans of the club.

There was some period of time when CescFabregas was one of the most cherished players in Arsenal history as he was named as the captain of the club at a young age and he was expected to guide the Premier League club to success but instead, Fabregas decided to join Barcelona which is where he spent some time developing as a youth player at the age of 10 and the Spanish midfielder wanted to make a return to his former club.
